The health, comfort and well being of your pet is of great concern to us here at Buckwood Pet Hotel. To help protect the pets in our care we require written proof that all pets have been vaccinated against these species specific infectious diseases within the last 12 months:

Rabies for both dogs and cats over 4 months of age
DA2P-CPV, CCV
1. Canine distemper virus
2. Canine parainfluenza virus
3. Canine parvo virus
4. Canine corona virus
FVRCP, FeLV
1. Feline rhinotracheitis virus
2. Feline calici virus
3. Feline panleukopenia (distemper) virus
4. Feline leukemia virus (or negative FeLV/FIV test)

We also accept 3-year rabies certificates and 3-year Distemper-Adeno-Parvo virus vaccinations with accompanying Distemper-Parvo titers performed within the last 12 months.

Due to the highly contagious nature of canine infectious tracheobronchitis (kennel cough) we require a Bordetella booster every 6 months instead of yearly regardless of the schedule used by your pet's regular veterinarian.

All pets will be given oral flea control after checking in to insure a flea free stay here at Buckwood Pet Hotel. To protect your pet from internal parasites we require proof of negative fecal (dogs and cats) and heartworm (dogs only) tests.

A $5 charge will be incurred if you do not provide proof of vaccinations/parasite control and we have to verify your pet's medical history. Please provide the name and telephone number of the veterinary facility where the most recent vaccines were administered as well as the name under which your pet's medical history may be found. If your pet is overdue for any of the required immunizations or parasite examinations, Northside Drive Pet Hospital will perform them at your expense.

In case of emergency, it is imperative that we have accurate contact telephone number(s). If your pet has any serious medical conditions please let us know how to proceed if you can not be contacted.
